I believe that I would using a data collection tool such as
excel as a teacher. For my 3rd grade classroom, I will be able to
record my students assignments as well as their grades for each assignment.
Using excel it will place the information in one place in an organized manner,
that would be easy to read and navigate on the computer.
Some topics I have found interesting were the ones about
technology and how different technologies are now be used inside the classroom.
Like some of the gadgets we saw inside the sandbox and going into the schools
for my service learning and seeing that schools and teachers are doing their
best to incorporate the different technologies.
A technology skill that I would like to learn more of would
be smart boards. Since I am going right into teaching next year, I want to be
familiar with the use of smart boards. I know that smart boards as a program
that you are able to create your presentations and assignments in and it would
be nice to learn all of that before I begin. I am going to go to the sandbox
and practice.
